Laura & Ryan are such an amazing couple, and it was a very fun shoot for all of us!!!  They haven't seen each other in a very long time - because Ryan is in military and stationed in Colorado, and Laura goes to school in North Carolina.. so they get very little chance to see each other. Laura decided to fly to Colorado to spend December holidays with Ryan, before he got deployed back to Iraq in January. So this was the only time we had for their engagement session before their big wedding day in July.  When I met Laura & Ryan it felt almost as we knew each other for a very long time, and we were old friends that were just hanging out and exploring Denver.

They were both dressed so cute, for a second I thought that I was going to work with couple of models on a photoshoot for some fancy magazine. I love when couples go all out and splurge a little for their new outfits - it makes me feel great and I know they are ready for some fun. Because those two have been apart for a very long time, working with them during their engagement session was so easy - those two couldn't keep their hands away from one another.  We walked around 16th Street in Downtown Denver, Colorado hitting up different locations during our shoot... beautiful town, beautiful couple and the weather couldn't have been more wonderful during December :) I hope the photos that I took of you while in Denver, Colorado will keep both of you warm during this winter while you are apart, and keep Ryan safe while he is serving in Iraq.

Laura & Ryan, thank you for the amazing time during the shoot, and a wonderful dinner in Downtown Denver :)  You guys are sooo much fun!  I am very excited for your wedding this summer in Winston Salem, NC.
